The US EPA’s proposed sanitary sewer capacity, management, operation, and maintenance (CMOM) regulations have prompted municipalities and sanitary sewer agencies nationwide to take a proactive approach toward managing and maintaining their collection systems.
GBA assists our clients in formulating a clear approach to meeting these EPA requirements by initiating an eight-step approach. This approach is designed to gather critical information, measure the client’s current operating status, and identify the steps necessary to reach a desired level of performance.
We offer our clients experience in all phases of CMOM, and have experienced first-hand which systems and approaches have worked and which have failed. We can assist in determining budgets needed and levels of City personnel required. Our I/I investigation capabilities can establish the current condition of the sewer system. This experience will be used to guide our clients to a positive reporting mode of CMOM performance indicators.
