Left untreated, trapped moisture can deteriorate the components of a roof system and building envelope, causing significant damage and creating the need for expensive repairs. Moisture infiltration can lead to mold and health concerns also. Thermal imagery can help building owners determine the appropriate course of action and get the most our of their roof systems/building envelopes.

GBA’s certified thermographers use infrared technology to detect moisture in a roofing system and/or building envelope to help the owner get the most out of the existing roof system.

Once the inspection has been completed, both visible light and thermal images of suspected wet areas are documented and explained in a professional report format to help the building owner understand the overall condition of the roof system. Scaled drawings that clearly define the size and location of each anomaly are also included in the reports.
