Treating your roofing system as an asset is crucial in minimizing interruption in day-to-day operations, limiting costly repairs, extending the life of the system, and ultimately maximizing your investment. Taking a proactive approach to maintaining your roof is the key to protecting that investment. Roof Asset Management (RAM) is the active management of a roof to achieve the lowest life-cycle cost. It is a multi-step process that includes
- Physical Assessment - Roof Inspections and Infrared Scans
- Review of Physical Data
- Development of a Customized RAM Database
- Generation of Repair, Maintenance, and Replacement Schedules
- Development of an Action Plan – Five- to 10-year Budget projections
Online Access
GBA will provide an online database of your roofing assets as part of the program. All roof conditions, financial reports, and AutoCAD drawings are available on a secure web site.
Our Roof Asset Management Program enables an owner to manage one building, or multiple buildings in various locations. RAM can benefit owners financially through proactive maintenance versus reactive repairs. If a roof needs replacement, RAM can also include project management.
