GBA Named Finalist in "Best Companies to Work For" Competition

Lenexa, Kan. (April 20, 2009) – Ingram’s magazine named GBA a finalist in its 2009 "Best Companies to Work For in Kansas City" competition. The recognition was announced in the March issue of the publication, which noted that all of the selected companies share a few common traits – a dedication to open and honest communication, a generous benefits package, and a commitment to work-life balance and healthy living.

The article notes that GBA employees “enjoy a range of financial and educational benefits common to great companies.” It also notes that employees have “ample opportunities to improve their education and their careers through leadership development programs, continuing education, and one-on-one coaching.” Harvesters, Habitat for Humanity, and Ronald McDonald House were mentioned as “just a few of the charities that benefit from GBA.”

GBA, which was founded in 1969, is a full-service engineering and architectural firm with a staff of 230 located in headquarters in Lenexa and in offices in St. Louis, O’Fallon, and Kansas City in Missouri, and in Lisle, Ill.
