It's not unusual to see several GBA employees come to work in costume on or around October 31. At that time we also hold the annual GBA "Chilimaster Cook-Off" where the winners in various categories are awarded the Golden Ladle trophy for the best chili recipes (voted on by a brave panel of GBA judges).
